While hot winds give nights in Havana a lashing, police inspector Conde meets Karina, a mysterious woman he finds immensely attractive. At the same time a policeman as unorthodox as himself is assigned to investigating the murder of Lissette Núñez, a teacher at the same pre-university college where Conde himself had studied.
