Madrid, 2011. Hottest August on record. Once and a half million pilgrims are awaiting the Pope’s visit and the city is under surveillance by security forces. Several elderly women are brutally raped and murdered. Two inspectors whom nobody wants as partners have to deal with each other. They receive a clear order: solve the case as soon as possible, but keep it quiet.
